The Cove: Shallaway’s Creative Home
The Cove is Shallaway’s dedicated creation, rehearsal, and teaching space — a welcoming, well-equipped environment designed to nurture artistry, collaboration, and imagination. Located in the east end of St. John’s at 410 East White Hills Road, The Cove offers affordable space for theatre and dance rehearsals, choral work, workshops, lessons, classes, and even intimate studio performances.

- Free parking on site.
- Additional spaces for prop/costume construction or table work (pending availability).

Rental Rates
We offer tiered pricing to make The Cove accessible to a wide range of community groups and organizations. All rentals are subject to HST.

Additional Costs:
- Key deposit: $50 (refunded upon return of key/fob)
- Student Assistant (if required): $20.25/hr (e.g., for box office, stage management, or tech support)

- Insurance: Renters may be required to provide proof of liability insurance depending on the nature of the activity.

Cancellations are non-refundable except in the event of weather-related building closures.
