Sarah McDonald Moores
Sarah McDonald Moores is a music educator and restorative justice practitioner who believes in the transformative power of music and relationships. A graduate of Memorial University’s Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Education (Leadership Studies) programs, Sarah has been teaching music in public schools since 2006 and is currently seconded to Relationships First Newfoundland and Labrador (RFNL) as Restorative Justice Education Coordinator, where she works to embed restorative justice as a way of being across all levels of education. A founding member of Lady Cove Women’s Choir and projēkt chamber voices, she has been featured as a soloist and has toured widely with choirs, experiences that continue to shape her as a musician. In addition to her work as a chorister, Sarah is an experienced pianist and accompanist, bringing both artistry and collaboration to her music-making.
