Genna Putt

Genna Putt was born into a musical family in Newfoundland, where she became very involved in the Arts community and developed her passion for music, particularly singing. She studied at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick where she received a Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Music. She continued her education at Memorial University of Newfoundland, receiving a Bachelor of Music Education.

Genna has worked as a private vocal coach for students of varying ages throughout Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Alberta, while founding Sharp Vocal Academy in Edmonton. Genna has taught within Grande Prairie School District, Parkland School District, Grande Prairie Regional College, and Edmonton Youth Choir Association as a choral specialist, private vocal instructor, and classroom music teacher. She is thrilled to be back home and to be making music again here in Newfoundland.
