Jubilate choristers are coming into their own musically and developing confidence with a more demanding repertoire and increased performance opportunities.

With hard work and fun, members of this ensemble are on their way to becoming serious music makers. Reflecting the meaning of their name, Jubilate choristers sing with joy during every performance.

Jubilate members are expected to continue improving their ear, voice, and sight-reading. Also emphasized is the forging of community within the group, the importance of conscientious independence of each chorister and a growing awareness and reflective ability with regard to cultural issues. Jubilate tours provincially every spring. Jubilate members are eligible for election to their own student government, the Jubilate Chorister Council.

Advanced Placement opportunity

At the commencement of the winter term, yearly, Jubilate members may choose to audition to become Camerata Advanced Placed members. This means that they must attend both Jubilate and Camerata rehearsals every week and learn the repertoire of both ensembles.
