Colin has performed a number of varying roles including Zuniga from Bizet’s Carmen, Mr. Gobineau from Menotti’s The Medium, David (cover) from Barber’s A Hand of Bridge, Osmin from John Davies’ The Billy Goats Gruffand March Hare/White Knight in Will Todd’s adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

In addition to this Colin was a member of the College Light Opera Company’s Vocal Company for the 2018 season, performing such roles as Charlie Cowell from Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man, and Private Willis from Gilbert & Sullivan’s Iolanthe, as well as many ensemble/chorus roles.

Colin is an avid chorister, teacher and new conductor, touring with the 2016 National Youth Choir of Canada, and most recently as a choral scholar with the Anchormen Barbershop Chorus along with the newly formed Projēkt Chamber Voices. Throughout his degree Colin has been fortunate to maintain an active teaching schedule, with students of all ages, and in this most final year of his degree was offered the position of Artistic Director for the newly restructured Decibelles Women’s Choir.

This summer Colin attended the Vocal Techniques workshop in St. Andrews, New Brunswick where he had the privilege of working with incredible faculty including Wendy Nielson, Peter Tiefenbach and more. Most recently Colin represented Newfoundland & Labrador at the 2019 National Music Festival in Saskatoon.

Colin is very excited to return to the choir which fostered his love of music and to give back to the organization which provided the foundation for his education and career.
