Canadian youth choir to perform at UP
The University of Pretoria’s (UP) Youth choir will be hosting a concert by young people on Saturday.
On the programme at UP’s youth choir in concert will be the award-winning Canadian youth choir and the Shallaway youth choir.
They will be performing alongside Pretoria Boys High choir and the UP youth choir.
This year marks Shallaway Youth Choir’s 25th anniversary and they are celebrating with a bang by heading to South Africa.
Shallaway is an internationally award-winning choir and celebrated as one of Canada’s premier youth choirs.
It consists of approximately 100 choristers whom UP youth choir members cannot wait to share a stage with.
